The steps for deleting search history from Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 are different.

To delete search history in Internet Explorer 6:

1. Select “Tools” from the Tools menu.
2. Select “Internet Options“.
3. Select the “Content” tab.
4. Click the “AutoComplete” button.
5. Select the “Clear forms” button to erase search history.
6. Click “OK”.

To delete search history in Internet Explorer 7:

1. Select “Tools” from the Tools menu.
2. Select “Internet Options“.
3. Select the “General” tab.
4. In “Browsing history” area click the “Delete” button.
5. In “Delete browsing history” window, select the “Delete forms” button. Click on “Yes“.
6. Click “Close”.
7. Click “OK”.
