In this Google Chrome browser tutorial video, we discuss the Google Chrome Task Manager. This feature alone makes the Chrome browser a very secure and cool browser technology. Using the Chrome Task Manager, you can close one tab which is really a single process for each tab, without having to close the entire Chrome application. So, each time you open a new Chrome tab, you are starting a new process. This is nifty since you can kill or stop the process causing the issue, and not the entire application – so you throw out the water but leave the baby! This is different than other multi-tab browsers such as Firefox or IE 7 – one bad tab can freeze the entire browser.
