How to Clear My Recent Documents List in Windows

In a few steps, it is easy to clear the “My Recent Documents” list in Windows:
- Right-click Start and choose Properties
- Click the Customize button
- Click the Advanced tab
- Click Clear List, and then click OK twice|
- The entries in your My Recent Documents menu disappear
