How to Clear My Recent Documents List in Windows

In a few steps, it is easy to clear the “My Recent Documents” list in Windows:

Right-click Start and choose Properties
Click the Customize button
Click the Advanced tab
Click Clear List, and then click OK twice|
The entries in your My Recent Documents menu disappear
