The Text Function in Excel 2007 can be used to extract data from Excel. Using use the Left, Mid and Right function arguments, data can be easily extracted. Taking this one step further, your extracted data can then be combined or concatenated, thus making this a very power tool. In this video, we show you how to use Microsoft Excel 2007 Text function along with the Left, Mid and Right function arguments, along with a trick to concatenate your data.
