How to Insert a Calendar in Word?
Using Word Templates
Step 1: Click and open a new or any existing Word document.
Step 2: Go to the File tab at the top left corner of the document and click it. A list of options will appear. Click on the New option.
Step 3: A Template window will appear. In the “Search Box” search for Calendars.
Step 4: A list of calendar templates will appear on the screen. Select a calendar template according to your requirement.
Step 5: Select your desired calendar and click on the Create button. After clicking on the create option, it will start downloading your desired calendar.

Using the Quick Table Option
You can also create a calendar manually by using the steps below.
Step 1: Open a new Word document.
Step 2: Place the pointer in the document where you want to create a calendar.
Step 3: Once you have selected the document, go to the Insert tab on the Ribbon and click on the Table option.
Step 4: An Insert Table dialog box will appear on the screen. Under that, click on Quick Tables.
Step 5: A Built-in window appears on the screen. Select a calendar according to your needs.

Create a Calendar Manually
Following are the steps to create a calendar manually in the Microsoft Word document:
Step 1: Open a new or any existing Word document where you want to insert a calendar.
Step 2: Go to the Insert tab on the Ribbon. A toolbar window opens below the Ribbon once you click on it.
Step 3: Click on the Table option in the Tables section on the Ribbon.
Step 4: An Insert Table dialog box will appear.
Step 5: Select the number of rows and columns based on your need and press the Enter key.
Note: We are going for a seven-by-five (7*5) size table to create a sample calendar.
Step 6: At the top of the row, enter the names of days of the week, such as Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs, and so on. To give the perfect shape to your calendar, you can also adjust the date or day column size according to your requirement. To see the final layout of the calendar, consider the screenshot below.
Step 7: Start adding the numbers in the boxes from which the first day of your month starts. To add numbers to the calendar, you can use the number keys from the keyboard.
Step 8: Once you create your calendar successfully, you adjust it and can save it in your desired location.
How to Save a Calendar
To save the calendar, you can use the following steps:
Step 1. Go to the File tab at the left corner of the ribbon. A list of File options will appear.
Step 2. Click on the Save As button. A Save As dialog box will appear.
Step 3. Browse the location where you want to save the file. Once you find the location, click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
Now, you can see that your calendar is saved in your desired location.
