However, wrapping text in PowerPoint is not the same as wrapping them in Word. Wrapping text in PowerPoint takes a couple of additional steps.
How to Wrap Text in PowerPoint?

Import the Wrapped Text from Word to PowerPoint
This is one of the most well-known methods to wrap text in PowerPoint. Though it involves a couple of additional steps, this method gives a clear result.
First, you need to add the text and image and wrap them in a Word document.
- Open the Word document.
- Now, add the text to the Word document.
- Then, place the cursor in the place where you want to insert the object/image. In this case, let us choose to add the image in the center of the paragraph and wrap the text around it.
- To add the image, navigate to the Insert main menu ribbon. Under the Illustrations section, click on the dropdown from Pictures. You can either choose to add the images from your device, stock images, or from online pictures.
- Now, click on the image. You can see the Layout option button on the side of the highlighted image. Using it, you can choose the wrapping style you want.
- Furthermore, make additional changes to the image by aligning, resizing, and moving the image to fit your purpose.
- Once you have added the image and wrapped text around it, save the Word document and close it.
Note: Make sure there is no additional content in the Word document, as they will also be imported onto the PowerPoint slide. Also, make sure to close the saved Word document.
Once you have saved the Word document, let us move to add them to PowerPoint.
- Open PowerPoint and navigate to the slide where you want to insert the wrapped image and text.
- Click on the Insert main menu ribbon. Under the Text section, click on the Object button.
- This opens the Insert Object dialog box.
- From the dialog box, click on the Create from file option.
- Click on Browse and choose the destination of the file.
Note: If you want the changes made to the Word document reflect in your PowerPoint slide, check the Link checkbox
- Click OK.
- This inserts the wrapped content from the Word document onto your PowerPoint slide.
- You can then move or resize the content using the outline and anchor points depending on your needs. If you want to make changes to the text or the image, double-click on the wrapped text in the PowerPoint slide.

This is one of the easiest ways to wrap text in PowerPoint. All you need to do is just create a text box and format your text in it.
- To wrap the text, first, select the slide where you want to insert the text.
- Then, navigate to Insert and click on the Text Box under the Text section.
- Now, drag the mouse pointer in the space on the slide and outline the textbox.
- Enter the text in the textbox and use the justify alignment to align them.
After the text is added in the text box, let us add the image.
- Under the Insert main menu ribbon, click on the dropdown from Pictures. From the dropdown, choose any method to insert the image. You can either insert the image from the local device or add them from the stock images or the internet using online pictures.
- When you insert the image, PowerPoint automatically shows you suggestions for wrapping the text and the image. Close the suggestions if you are not satisfied with them.
- Now, resize the image and move it to the desired location as you see fit. In this case, let us add the image to the center of the text and wrap the text around it.
